Presentation Ceremony of Nabeshima Ware (October – November) The “Nabeshima Ware Presentation Ceremony” honors the centuries-old tradition of Nabeshima ware, created in the Edo period as tribute for shoguns and feudal lords. As part of the Autumn Festival, it is presented to castle lords, governors, and mayors—a moment to witness Nabeshima ware’s proud history and enduring craftsmanship. Autumn Pottery Market (November 1 – 5) Celebrating the enduring tradition of the Nabeshima kilns, this autumn festival features offerings, brush memorials, and special sales.
